— Why we do not provide daily updates for .de zone?
— Country-code registars never open their zone files to the public. The only way to discover domains in country-code zones is to do a massive recursive scan of all known websites. That's what we're doing. We use a massive cluster of servers and crawl the Web, then we check and clean the resulting lists. We know of millions of CCTLD-domains in hundreds of zones (and currently know of 5,882,521 domains in .de zone), but we do not cover 100% of them (some of the smaller websites simply do not have any inbound links and that means that our crawlers cannot find them). Meanwhile we regularly add new domains to this list (1 time / 2 months).

The domain zone .DE was created in 1986. It is the country top-level domain of the Republic of Germany. The registrar of the domain is DENIC, which is the Network Information Centre in Germany. If you would like to host a website with the domain zone, then you need permission from the registrar. The name is based on the first letters of the Republic of Germany (Deutschland).

The domain zone was first registered in the computer department at the University of Dortmund. It is a very popular domain in the Federal Republic of Germany. The domain zone was specifically created to cater for website builders in the Republic of Germany. If you are building a website and you would prefer a Germany IP, then you can use the domain zone so that apart from computer devices, you can inform network users that your online business is based in Germany.
